Daddy was busy playing golf and GG wanted to go to the Garden Festival at the Botanical Garden so we loaded up and joined all the other gardeners! Everything was blooming and it was so pretty. We saw a Monarch butterfly laying eggs on milkweed, enjoyed a snowball, and got faces painted! It was great fun!
Zane jumped at the chance to get his face painted...all the butterflies we saw inspired his choice!
He was so proud!
Finley was a bit unsure so we settled on a flower on her hand!
Finely and Zane got to help with their first car wash! Mommy's white car was a nice shade of yellow after all the pollen had settled on it so it needed a good cleaning. They were so eager to help and it was their reward for taking a good nap! We even got their car out for them to wash!
Thanks to daddy for doing most of the work while momma snapped pics of her sweet babies having fun! It was a good day!
Time for our annual bluebonnets photo shoot! After I said we were all done, Finley said she wanted to stay and eat a snack in the bluebonnets...too cute! I just love these two to pieces...they are the sweetest!
We headed to a park for our snack and enjoyed the gorgeous weather! It was such a nice morning!
Gary and I headed to Arizona to meet our precious nephew while Finley and Zane stayed here at Camp Grandma! I can not thank GG and Grammy enough for spoiling taking such great care of them! They kept us updated with iPhone pics of all their adventures!
Phoenix was fun as always and Joe and Angela were gracious hosts even with a 4 month old to care for! We were there during Spring Training and went to a game at a new stadium (please don't ask me who played or the name of the stadium!)...it was a gorgeous day and I was enjoying the weather and company! We also hit all the hot spots for lunch and drinks...it was a nice getaway for sure!
Mr. Cutie Patootie!
What a day for a game!
Just playing around!
Is he not the cutest?!?! And he is such a good baby!
We got spoiled with gorgeous perfect springy weather last week. This weekend the weather has turned cold and wet...blah. It did however give us a good excuse to put on our rain gear and get out of the house for a little bit.
