It's my last day and I'll cry if I want to....

Friday was my last day of teaching.  It was a pretty emotional day...I cried at circle time, I cried watching the kiddos play on the playground, and I cried saying goodbye to the bus driver, Mr. Jim.  I know I will see my coworkers, so no goodbyes there, just a see ya later.  But it was sure weird packing up this year and turning my key in for good.

I was so lucky to work with so many great teachers that I now consider friends!

My classroom all packed up..

All locked up for the last time....

I know exactly how that last days feels! I, too, cried at circle time, packing up the classroom, and cried as I watched the busses pull away! I know that you were such an amazing teacher, and once a teacher, always a teacher! Your kids will always remember you, as will their parents!

Your new "job" will be more rewarding than any day in the classroom ever could have been! I am so happy for you to begin this next chapter!

Love you to pieces, Suzanne!

Talk about memories seeing those pictures. Hard to believe that I went to school there. Eanes had some of my favorite teachers. They will miss you, but Amy's right- your next job is going to hard and wonderful at the same time.

I have been in your shoes. I still miss my teaching buddies but then I look at my girls. You will never forget those wonderful families and friends. You have touched so many lives but now you have 2 new lives to touch. It has been 3 yrs since I left. I have started pulling out my old Kinder stuff for Avery. I am even coloring file folder games for her. You will never stop teaching...trust me.
