These are the smiling faces we wake up to every morning!! We are so very lucky!
Here we are just playing in our cribs after our nap!
Their cheeks are just so kissable its crazy!
Daddy was making Zane smile!
They are putting just about everything in their mouths!
Finley and Zane took their first stroll in the BOB today! We bundled them up, strapped them in, and off we went! They both loved it at first, but then got a little fussy ( I think they were tired) so we had to cut it short! Although it was brief I am in love with the BOB and I know that they will love it too! They looked great in it!
So bath time is changing…I needed a way to fit both of them in the tub at the same time, so I found these bath chairs and figured we would try them out. They are not quite ready to sit up on their own or in the other bath seats I’ve seen, so we are trying out these in the meantime.
I was bathing them separately and that was okay when Gary was home to entertain one while I bathed the other, but when I do bath time alone I want to do them together
How do/did you other moms of twins do bath time?
Know of anyone who needs a house in central Austin?
We have completed our little project and our rental is now up for sale as of today! Cross your fingers that it sells soon! It is a precious 2-1 in the great neighborhood of Hyde Park.
Check it out at Austin Home Search

Finley and Zane had their first taste of rice cereal this morning! It was of course messy and I don’t know if any of it made it in their bellies! We will be trying it again tomorrow…oh boy!

Gary and I ventured out on our own last night for a nice date night! We went to a friends wedding and got to visit with lots of friends! We had a really nice time!
My mom and brother babysat! Thank you so much!
Going for a stroll!!
Bathed and ready for their bottle!
A couple of weeks ago I started to notice a need for additional entertainment. The playmats, bouncy seats, and swings were just not cutting it anymore! So I assembled the jumperoo and excersaucer and have added them to the play repertoire…we rotate: bouncy seats, jumperoo/excersaucer, playmats, then rinse and repeat with a walk or two thrown in there some days! They are really starting to get the hang of it…it is so cool to watch them explore!! They can turn all the way around in the excersaucer and are jumping in the jumperoo!
We really need a playroom! Our living room has turned into Toys-R-Us!! That is little Woods in the picture…he came over to play last week!
Today is a beautiful day so we went outside and enjoyed the great outdoors!
We got a little tired before I could snap one of Zane…next time, lil’ buddy!!!
…as Sarah cleverly calls a walk so that the dogs don’t get all excited! We have also adopted the term stroll!!
Today we went on 2 strolls…one around the neighborhood and one at Town Lake! It was their first visit to Town Lake and they did fabulously! We are going to be a regular for sure!
Question for all the mommies….when did you start putting your babies in the jogging stroller without the car seats? I set up the BOB stroller last weekend and can’t wait to use it! Hopefully within the next month or so!! The snap-n-go is great but it is quite the workout when we are off road!!
We headed over to the Miller’s to celebrate Blakeley’s birthday this weekend! She was quite the entertainment and we had tons of fun!
Woods pretty much slept through all the fun!
Finley napped in Blakeley’s bed!
Blakeley trying out all of her new toys at once…quite the multi-tasker!!
Just a little taste!!
Finley and Zane weren’t ready to stop partying when we got home, so the fun continued in our playroom (aka living room)!!
