Hello Again!
Sorry for my absence, but my computer finally crashed. It is at the repair shop and we are still waiting to hear its fate. In the meantime I have been borrowing Gary computer which he had just gotten wiped clean…so I have no access to my programs, bookmarks, files, etc. ARG! Back up your computer TODAY!!
We have been busy getting ready for the holidays and getting over our first ear infections…BOO. Everyone in our house was sick at the same time…so not fun!
While we were quarantined we had to get a little creative! I was breaking down a box and both Finley and Zane laughed hysterically as they would run or crawl through! The funniest was when mom went through!! It has now become a new piece of furniture in our house…whatever works, right!!!
I hope everyone is staying healthy!!

Oh deer!!
GG brought some fun Christmas things last week such as snowmen straws, a stuffed Santa, and 2 blow up reindeer! The poor deer have taken a beating though…
One tough reindeer!
We have also made some changes to our decorations…baby proofing our decor this year! The tree has been tied back…
Finley and Zane have been exploring the tree just a bit but thankfully they aren’t too interested in it! Finley even started decorating it…with a DIAPER!
I have yet to decorate the tree…I just wanted to see if how Finley and Zane reacted to it! So far so good!
Family fun!
We are so thankful for our friends and family! We had a great Thanksgiving here in Austin with lots of family and friends who came to visit!
The Perez crew…Aunt Angela and uncle Joe came in from Arizona!
Aunt Jan and Uncle Ryan came to play too (oh and sweet Bella!)
The Tankersley clan… (I won’t post the keeper photo as it is going to be used in a Chirstmas card!!) Here is a teaser…what a production it is with 4 children under 3!!!
Grammy and GG!
We hosted this year and had to make do with what we had…We only brought half of our dishes and such so we opted for plastic (sure made clean up a bit easier)! Oh and I didn’t bring many place mats so I hit up Michael’s for some decorative paper!
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Choo-choo!!
We celebrated our friend, Will’s, first birthday on Sunday with a ride on the Zilker train! It was a beautiful day spent with lots of friends!
Despite their expressions, they LOVED it!!!!

Oh Shutterfly
Oh Shutterfly
(to the tune Oh Christmas Tree)
Oh Shutterfly, Oh Shutterfly
Your holiday cards are perfect!
Oh Shutterfly, Oh Shutterfly
Your holiday cards are perfect!
You offer great designs for us every year!
And let us send some holiday cheer!
Oh Shutterfly, Oh Shutterfly
Your holiday cards are perfect!
I love Christmas time! I love the smells, the sounds, the sights, but one of my very favorite things about Christmas time is the CHIRSTMAS CARDS (photo cards especially)!!! I can’t wait to check the mail every day and open the cards! They are part of my Christmas decor as I display all the cards!
I have been using Shutterfly for my Christmas cards for 6 years, and I will be continuing the tradition this year! In the past I just did the photo paper card, but Shutterfly now offers so much more! I will be choosing a stationary card this year to change things up! There are so many to choose from that I literally have 3 made up right now and am trying to pick!
Here are some past cards of mine…
2008
2007
2006
2005
Here are some of my favorites this year:
For a great black and white photo…here and here.
I love that they have Livestrong inspired designs as well!
And when you can’t pick just one photo…great collage options! (here and here)
With so many options and affordable prices why go anywhere else!??! Oh, and if you blog about them they will give you 50 free cards…yep! Bloggers get 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly http://bit.ly/sfly2010 Enjoy!
Shutterfly has so much else to offer. I just ordered a photo book of their first birthday party! Their photo books are so easy to create and would be great to give as gifts!!
They also have photo mugs and photo calendars that would also be great to give as well as so much more! Go check it out! Are you hosting a party? They have fun and festive invitations as well! Get those birthday invites and cards at Shutterfly too…it’s a one stop shop!
Have yourself a merry little Christmas and holiday card season!

Colorado
I left last Friday to go out of town without Finley and Zane. Before this trip, I had not bee away from them for more than about 4 hours. Needless to say, it was hard on momma and I was boohooing just a bit as I left! Zane didn’t make it easy when he woke up with his first crusty eye that morning…ugh. Daddy and GG took great care of them while I was gone and sent me many pics throughout the weekend!
My cousin, Stacy’s, wedding was just beautiful! Boulder + gorgeous Chautauqua Park + great weather = perfect! We got to go on a hike in the Flatirons and enjoyed seeing snow flurries!
Our gift bags…love the owls!
On the way to breakfast! She loved the “fresh snow”!
Rehearsal dinner…Blakeley shows everyone how to eat a cupcake! I think she liked it! I do have to say they were super yummy and if I could have, I would have licked my plate too!
Aunt Mary Ann and my mom!
The wedding!!!
The beautiful bride and her handsome boys!!
My neighbors on the plane…they were so well behaved!
I missed Finley and Zane so much but had a wonderful time in Colorado!
